Thormundar - Herneus, the Hunter God

"You hunt here with the blessing of Herneus; remember well that I can take it at any time."

The first piece I finished in 2021 (Even though it was carried over from the tail end of 2020), I elected to paint this in a more widescreen canvas than my usual. Owing to the fashion of my high tones and low tones for this piece, I had to resort to using Levels and Colour Balance to balance the shadows, along with matching the wolves to the rest of the piece. The background for this was much more of a hassle than my other pieces, and went through a few changes to get them to fit.
