Rowan, Harmonious Splicer

Some fanart to commemorate the release of Phyrexia: All Will Be One; with a compleated version of my OC, Rowan Marza.

I’ve been a sucker for New Phyrexia ever since it debuted (in fact, the Artful Destruction Intro Pack was for the longest time something on my “cool things to get” list), and I was super pumped to hear the announcement of Phyrexia: All Will Be One.

As a perennial Green/White player, I based Compleated Rowan’s design on both the Machine Orthodoxy and the Vicious Swarm (Porcelain and flesh, mixed with copper and patina), and as a nod to the Artful Destruction Intro Pack, added golems to further flesh out the piece (and allude to Rowan’s initial powers; instead of summoning and controlling spirits, have a few physical slaved golems instead). The backdrop is a simple set of sinew-linked towers in the vein of the new environments from Phyrexia: All Will Be One (I’ll stop saying it already, I swear), with the White and Green Suns providing a little extra illumination.

(Also before anyone asks, this is OC non-canon; I’m not going down the one-way road of Phyrexian dismemberment and reconstruction with one of my favourite OCs.)
