Commission - Eternal War

A commission for a client, who requested their character with their fried by their side, rushing into battle!

This was the first time I've painted a war scene in this vein, and it just so happened that I had recently finished Warframe's "The New War" expansion, so it sort of psyched me up into the right mindset to plan this background.

The client also requested two versions of the piece upfront, one with headgear and one without, so I used a mask on the second character's head to ensure the helmet wouldn't have to be redrawn from scratch.
